Almost Ready for Year Three!

Northern Twistars Gymnastics has moved locations and has grown by almost 8000 square feet! At the end of July, we moved out of our humble (tiny), sweet gym. It served us well as a new business. But we have grown! After concluding our July camps, we moved into a 10,200 square foot building at 102 2nd Street South in Virginia.

We are currently under construction, we have ordered new equipment and we are waiting for it to arrive. We have to paint, clean and organize and time is running out! Yikes!

We cannot wait to see the end product. We know that you will love OUR NEW GYM!

Spring In-House Competition

Our Spring In-House Competition was a success. We are so proud of all our students who participated in this competition. We had over 100 competitors with more than 500 spectators and supporters who attended this all-day event. Instead of just putting on a show or performance for our family and friends to watch, we wanted to make this event feel like a "real" gymnastics meet. So we had three judges who came to critique and offer their comments to each of the competitors. The judges' feedback was very positive and they were impressed with the progress we've made at the club in such a short amount of time.

We'd like to thank all the volunteers who helped us move equipment and those who helped during the event. We couldn't have done all this without their help.

Important Announcement!

As you may have noticed, Lisa has been around the club more often! Well, as of January 1st, Lisa became an official part owner of Northern Twistars Gymnastics with me. This partnership was always the plan. Years ago, Lisa and I started talking about the possibility of opening a gymnastics club here on the Iron Range. We worked on pulling together the plans for this club and looked forward to working alongside one another. And we know life doesn’t always go the way we plan, but a year later it has come to be. Now together, we can’t wait to see how our club will grow!!!
