So, your child is ready for more independence. Well, this is the class for them! This positive environment will allow for experimentation with new found capabilities! In a fun game-like environment, your pre-schooler will learn basic gymnastics, build self-confidence, strength and coordination.

BOY'S CLASS

Meteors/Asteroids/Quasars
Boys: $40, 4 classes/session (1 hour each)
Boys Advanced: $70, 8 classes/session (1 hour each)

Especially for the boys! This class offers all levels of recreational gymnastics. We focus on four of the six men’s gymnastics events; vault, floor, high bar, and pommel. We work to develop strength, coordination, flexibility and confidence in an athletic setting. This is a highly structured, but energetic class. We have a GREAT time and work hard!

LEVEL 1 INTRODUCTION CLASSES

Shooting Stars
4 classes/session (1 hour each)

For the beginners among us! A fun and positive atmosphere is always the most important foundation, while learning the fundamentals of gymnastics. We will be learning techniques on vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor. This class sets the foundation on which more difficult skills are built. Students master the basics before they move up to the next level. A checklist will be used to track the mastery of gymnastic skills and record advancement.

LEVEL 2 CLASSES

Rising Stars
4 classes/session (1 hour each)

More challenge and fun coming up! After mastering Level 1 skills, this class continues the development of gymnastic foundations using vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor. We focus on developing strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, grace and confidence while never forgetting about the FUN! Students master the Level 2 skills before they move up to the next level. A checklist will be used to track the mastery of gymmastic skills and record advancement.

LEVEL 3 CLASSES

Comets
4 classes/session (1.5 hours each)

The next step, having fun through hard work! After successfully completing Levels 1 and 2, or the intermediate level of gymnastics, you will continue to build on the basics with more advanced elements on vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor. While remaining fun, there will be more structure and emphasis placed on fitness, in addition to perfecting technique and form.

LEVEL 4 CLASSES

4 classes/session (2 hours each)
$70

For the experienced gymnast, this exciting class will increase the level of difficulty on vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor. The focus of this class will be on putting elements together in combination, routines and performances. There will be an emphasis on fitness, technique and showmanship. Through positive encouragement, we will work hard to perfect skills and perform confidently.

PREP/SHOW TEAM

12 classes/session (2 hours each)
$180

This is where we pull it all together! You must complete Level 3 Comets in order to participate in the Superstars. In this fun, but optional class, you will be performing at different community events and preparing competitive routines for Level 5.

EXTRAS

Private Lessons - $20/hour
By appointment only.

Parent's Night Out - $12/child or $10/child in a family
Offered at least one to two nights per month (Friday and/or Saturday). One member of your family must be a member of Northern Twistars Gymnastics. Must be 5 years or older. Limited space.
