Gwyn Roos

My name is Gwyn Roos.

In September 2008, I opened a gymnastics club in Virginia, Minnesota. I have been an elementary school teacher for 10 years and the head coach of the high school gymnastics team for 11 seasons.

This club is a dream come true for me.

Teaching is in my blood! Gymnastics is in my heart! I am enthusiastic about bringing the exciting sport of gymnastics to the Iron Range. I am thrilled to offer a variety of gymnastics-based classes. I am honored to be a part of building self-confidence, self-discipline and self-esteem in our area's youth. I am passionate about teaching, and I am passionate about being able to offer children a truly positive environment. Our aim is the same: to have healthy, strong and happy children! ~Gwyn

Lisa Jue Fix

Hi, my name is Lisa.

I started learning gymnastics when I was a young child in the local community education classes. I continued on as a team member of the MIB-V high school gymnastics team for 6 years. The year 2004 is when I started coaching gymnastics. Gwyn and I coached the high school team together for three seasons. Unfortunately the team dissolved in 2008.

I thought my coaching days were over. But luckily Gwyn and I were able to put our long-time plans in motion of starting our own gymnastics training facility. The first year in operation I was limited to how much I could help coach at the club. But now my availability is becoming more and more open, and I am able to offer more of my time. So hopefully you’ll be seeing more of me.
